  • Product Description
    Autoclavable biohazard bags (also known as autoclavable medical waste bags) are specialized packaging designed specifically for holding contaminated biological products and medical waste. Completely different from ordinary garbage bags, their core feature is the ability to withstand high-temperature, high-pressure steam environments, allowing them to be safely disposed of directly after sterilization.
    1. Core Features and Working Principles
    • Material & Heat Resistance: They are typically made from special materials such as virgin polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), capable of withstanding steam temperatures up to 130°C–135°C. They will not melt under standard sterilization conditions (121°C at a pressure of 101.3 kPa for 15–20 minutes).
    • Sterilization Principle: In a sealed autoclave, rising steam pressure increases the boiling point of water. At a pressure of 0.1 MPa, the internal temperature can reach 121°C. Under this high-temperature steam, various bacteria and their highly heat-resistant spores can be rapidly killed.
    • Mechanical Strength: Special designs, such as bottom gussets, are adopted to enhance load-bearing capacity. The material is tough and puncture-resistant, effectively reducing the risk of hazardous material leakage.
    Customization for different colors and specifications is supported.
